This partial solar eclipse (when the moon is between the sun and earth) was visible on the east coast on June 10, 2021 at sunrise. This image is from downeast Maine where the sun rose at 4:45am. There was a cloud layer just above the horizon. I captured this four minutes after sunrise. I used a very dark (10 stop) filter to allow a direct image of the sun.
